Prayers

Sometimes before we call,
He gives the answer.
Sometimes, upon our pillows,
We must plead.

In loving voice, oft times,
He sends a blessing.
But always, He provides
Just what we need!

~ A Moment ~

Draw me aside, Lord. please do it, now. For,
The storm, on life’s sea, is too much.
I’d like to smell roses ~ the scent of new rain;
The pressure of Your tender touch.

I’d like to hear, softly, the sound of Your voice and
See, faintly, on Your face ...
A smile that’s spontaneous ~ prompted by deeds ~
I can perform by Your grace.

I just need a moment ~ the catching of breath.
The races I run are diverse.
So, draw me aside for moments with You,
So that my will and Your will immerse.
