To sweeten a day, ever fair.

With tulips and lilies in bloom
Carnations so fine, an iris
divine
Orchids to brighten a room.
Oh, for the love of the
springtime
A heavenly scent does abound
Daisy delight, a violet so light
Tender red roses are found.
Oh, for the blessings of
springtime
Such beauty, mine eyes do behold
Petunias from God, peek out from
the sod
More precious than rubies or
gold.
